Founded in 2008 as a software development consultancy in the finance sector, but have since grown into a consultancy focused on all regulated industries. Our team of over 60 creative technologists is dedicated to solving complex business problems, delighting users, and helping clients achieve their goals through the co-creation of technology solutions.

Our Story
Sourcetoad was born in 2008 from the collective vision of three friends from the University of South Florida: Greg Ross-Munro, Nick DeMelas, and Justin Weber. Each brought a unique perspective and expertise to the table. Greg was deeply immersed in the Biotech M&A space, Nick was pioneering technology for law firms and trials, and Justin was steering a company that facilitated discussions and solutions for software and security problems.
In our early days, a game-changing event occurred: the release of the iPhone. This revolution sparked an unprecedented demand for custom mobile applications, and custom software development in general, propelling us into the limelight. We seized this opportunity, quickly establishing ourselves as leaders in web and mobile app development.
Throughout the changing technology landscapes since, we have stayed true to our roots in the healthcare, education, and finance industries. Achieving SOC2 Type 2 and HIPAA compliance certifications demonstrated our steadfast commitment to security and regulatory standards.
Strategic growth was a cornerstone of our journey. Through a series of thoughtful acquisitions, we expanded our capabilities, bringing in top-tier talent in development, design, training, and cybersecurity.
This strategic expansion enabled us to secure high-profile clients such as Procter & Gamble, Jackson Hewitt, Baxter Healthcare, Certegy, and Moffitt Cancer Center.
As we grew, so did our service offerings. We adapted to the evolving needs of our clients, providing comprehensive solutions in AWS infrastructure management, AI training, and staff augmentation and recruiting. This diversification allowed us to become a one-stop shop for technology services for organizations in highly regulated industries.
Today, we maintain a robust presence in the USA, ensuring compliance-heavy clients receive the attention and support they need. Additionally, we operate an L1 support center in the Philippines and a development team based in Perth, Australia, allowing for seamless 24/7/365 support for our international client base.
Sourcetoad is now focused on the future of Artificial Intelligence in regulated industries; their innovations, benefits, risks, and mitigations. The entire technology landscape is changing once again, and we are excited to make sure our clients are ready. We’re also WAY older and wiser than when that iPhone thing came out.
